My Son sanctuary is located 50 km from Hoi An in the most beautiful valley.  The huge area consists of more than 70 bricks and sandstone constructions, which were built from the 7th to the 14th century.  Most of the towers are divided into many groups depending on the times of building.  The French Archeologists found My Son by the end of 19th century.

It has been restored and reserved constantly.  In 1999 the UNESCO recognized it as the World Cultural Heritage. My Son is strongly recommended in most of the guidebooks to tourists on their trip to the Central of Vietnam.

 

ITINERARY :

7:45 – 8:00: Pick up at your hotel in Hoi An center, and Departure to My Son Holly Land

09:00: Arrive at My Son sanctuary and start to visit My Son

In My Son Holly Land, the towers and tombs have been dated from the 7th to the 14th century, but archaeological finding shows us that the Cham King were burried here since 4th century. The total of buildings are more than 70 towers including small, normal and large towers. My Son sanctuary sopposedly is the religion center and culture of Champa Ancient Kingdom.

11:30: Move to local house to learn :”how to make rice paper”. You will enjoy your own hand – making products later on.

12:30: Have lucnh at local house with local food

13:30: Move to Cau Lau boat station and travel down dow the Thu Bon river by motorized boat to Hoi An.

14:00: Arrive in Hoi An. Bus take you back to the hote. Finish our small daily group tour to My Son Holly Land from Hoi An.
